Pennsylvania’s parks and forests become art

Bring some color and learn about PA’s state parks and forests with the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation’s newest monthly paint by number program.

CAMP HILL, PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES, Nov. 23, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — PPFF volunteer artist Melodie Schwarz-Higgins’ unique November Paint-by-Number template is now available at the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF ) Website: https://paparksandforests.org/our-work/education/water-and-forested-ecosystems/paint-by-number/

The paint by number template is an extraordinary way for individuals and families to connect with the Pennsylvania landscapes on a different level.

“My goal as an artist is to make nature accessible to all through art, and I hope that as people connect with nature, they will be inspired to appreciate and protect our amazing resources,” said Schwarz- Higgins.

The November theme is inspired by a photo of Ricketts Glen State Park taken by Tasha Ferris. Continuing the 2022 PPFF focus on clean water and forested ecosystems, this month’s do-it-yourself painting features a stunning aquatic scene full of life and colour.

Suitable for all skill levels, do-it-yourself coloring pages can be downloaded and printed to create a work of art in your own home. Along with the sample image and DIY template, there are a few fun facts about what the photo captures to help spread the message of clean water.

There are many templates available. Simply click on your favorite image to get a downloadable paint by number sheet and color key. Find them here!
